FABULOUS FIRST FRIDAY FILM FESTIVAL July 11, 7 P.M.

“Festival”, a chronicle of the Newport Folk Music Festivals from 1963 to 1966, will be shown at People’s Church on Friday, July 11 at 7:00 pm. Better-known artists featured in the film include Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Johnny Cash and Peter, Paul and Mary. This was the height of the folk music era. The music, drawn from American roots, expressed a sense of community with idealism and social concern.

Join the sing along led by Sally DeFreitas afterwards.
